March Madness has infected the country. Everybody is seeing brackets and I decided to take it upon myself to leech the bracket fun into pop culture. I, David Hennenhoefer created the Best Characters of “Golden Age” of T.V. bracket. The “Golden Age” of television started in the late ’90s with E.R., The West Wing and Friends. It took its big revolutionary boom when HBO aired The Sopranos and The Wire. We are now at the tale end of this movement with Mad Men and Breaking Bad wrapping up. But what lives on is the characters. Those people the public got to know every week. That is why I asked my friends and contributors at State-Lines to vote and decide what character is truly the best. We are voting on some all time classic characters as well as some surprises with the automatic qualifiers. The automatic qualifier is if the actor won an Emmy for their role. The bracket has to mimic and feel like the NCAA tournament.
